Beverly Campbell - The Artist

About Beverly.

Born and raised in North Toronto, and recent Beach resident, Beverly's work focuses on architecture, historical landmarks, and buildings under the threat of demolition.

Beverly is an active member of the Beach Guild Fine Art, where most of her work can be seen and purchased.

Repertoire of Work

With a variety of disciplines and interests within her scope of work, she studied Mixed Media at the Ontario College of Art, and Illustration for Animated Film Studies at Sheridan College.

Beverly continues to grow her large Watercolour collection, and pen and ink illustrations of historical Brooklin, Ontario, while also working daily on her creative writing.

Projects of Note

When I Was A Kid In Toronto© is a collection of 50 original stories illustrated in watercolour and pen & ink based on her life as a child in the 40s. Several excerpts from this book were published and in January 2017 and can be viewed on Story Quilt Magazine. Several other excerpts have been published through Canadian Stories Magazine.
SHOPFRONTS© is a unique collection of rapidly changing Toronto storefronts, captured first in photograph, then illustrated into postcards and sold in the local shops, art shows. These keepsakes are available at Seagull Classics on Queen Street in the Beach, Toronto, as well as The Lynde House Museum, Whitby.
Artie - The Mobile Art Supplier is a personal project Beverly has created to support local artists without financial means to continue on their journey to financial self-reliance and self-expression. The Beach Metro News covered this heartfelt story.
